Marianne Frapwell is the Project S.A.F.E. (for a Sexual Assault-Free Environment) Program Manager and the Survivor Advocate at Occidental College in Los Angeles. Marianne oversees Oxy's comprehensive sexual violence prevention and advocacy efforts, including support services for students, faculty and staff who have been directly or indirectly impacted by sexual violence. Originally from Atlanta, GA, she received a Masters in Social Work and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis. Her professional career has been dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate trauma-informed care with individuals, groups, and organizations, and to increasing collaboration among community stakeholders in an effort to highlight the intersectionality of violence and build a more supportive community.
